June 2026: When God Doesn't Give You a Plan

Hey everyone. It's June, as promised.

Happy summertime.

First, I want to start with gratitude. Thank you to all of you who have prayed for us, listened to us, counseled us, and invested in us over this break. Lantova has never existed in a vacuum, and the last six months have proven that it cannot heal in isolation either. We are built for one another. We need one another. (And "one another" extends way beyond our team.)

And so I want to offer a sincere, deep shoutout to each and every one of you who has spoken into our lives. You know who you are. 💙

Now, on to the Lantova update.

How Things Stand, as of June 2026

I like things neat. I like things tidy.

And truthfully, I thought that's what we would get during these six months. I thought I'd be able to come back in with a trumpet blast and confetti and a blueprint of where Lantova was headed and how we were going to get there.

BA-DA-BING.

BA-DA-BOOM.

I can hear my mentors chuckling now.

But that genuinely was my prayer in January: "LORD, just give us a plan."

And we waited.

And we prayed.

And we sought counsel.

And we didn't get a plan.

This is the record-scratch part of this update.

When God Doesn't Give You a Plan

Getting silence is a difficult thing, especially when it comes from the LORD.

But if we're truthful, we didn't get silence about Lantova.

We just didn't hear what we wanted to hear.

We were told to heal.

Heal individually.

Heal from old things.

Heal from what happened in 2025.

But all in all, heal.

Not exactly a trumpet blast. Or confetti. Or even blame, if we take a moment to pause on that point.

Jesus interrupted us and the business we were building together to heal us.

He didn't come swinging a sledgehammer. He didn't sabotage us passive-aggressively. Or forget about us. And He didn't interrupt us mid-scandal.

And Jesus still interrupted us to heal us.

It's almost like He cares more about our hearts than He does about what we produce. Funny how that works.

What Does that Mean for Lantova?

As we're healing, Lantova is staying on pause. That means no more blog posts, no newsletter, no podcast production, no social media.

We're effectively shutting down while remaining attuned to Jesus for when it's time to start things back up.

And yes, the irony of our tagline isn't lost on us:

IF IT IS NOT GOOD, IT IS NOT THE END.

Right now, from the standpoint of launching Lantova, this is not good.

We don't have a game plan.

We don't have a timeline for when we'll be back.

We don't know what a revived Lantova will look like.

But we do have a good, beautiful God.

That doesn't change, whether we get Lantova back or not.

Closing Thoughts

Thank you again, readers, friends, family, and mentors who have tuned in to this stage of the journey. You're bearing witness to a messy middle.

I wanted to leave you all with my biggest takeaway over the last six months, and I hope it can be a blessing for you in any chaotic "If it is not good..." stage you find yourself in.

Following Jesus is Still Worth It.

Sometimes we follow Jesus more to get our way than to follow His way. It sneaks up on us. But the rubber meets the road when the roads diverge.

Here's what I would say mid-process with Lantova: Follow Him anyway.

It's better to leave the plans behind. It's better to feel lost. It's better to wrestle down the grief and disappointment. It's always better to be with Him than to build any kind of business, any kind of ministry, or any kind of dream without Him.

I really would take Lantova shipwrecked with Jesus over a successful Lantova apart from Him.

And I say that ten toes down.

Love you all,

Sarah
