Lantova 2026 Update: We Are Taking a Break

Hey everyone, Sarah here! We don’t have our typical blog post for you today. Instead, we wanted to share an update on Lantova itself as we head into 2026.

Here’s a verse that has both blessed and challenged us along the way. We’ve used it to calibrate and recalibrate Lantova many times—and we’ve returned to it again as we’ve prayed about how to enter this year.

Psalm 127:1-2 (ESV) | “Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sleep.”

Looking Back on 2025

2025 was an exciting, wild, and challenging year for us as a team, and us individually. You caught some of the stories through our miniseries last month. But the truth is we’ve been through more than that. Much more.

Something we talked extensively about as a team when we first got together was wanting to create content from a place of health. Church scandals have impacted our lives significantly, and the last thing we wanted to do was set ourselves up to be the next one.

Flash forward to where we are now, in January 2026.

To be clear, we do not have a scandal on our hands. No one is being investigated by the legal system or anything else even close. We are, ironically, in the position many people might push to keep going through the obstacles, through the pain, through the fatigue––and call that faith. But for us, it wouldn’t be faith. It would be pride, unhealed grief, fear, and an unwillingness to yield or be stopped by our King.

And that is a problem. That is not creating from a place of health. That’s bleeding out, with an audience to watch.

And we don’t want to do that––to ourselves, or to you.

So that means we’re starting 2026 off with a new gameplan…

We are taking a break.

By "Break" Here's What We Mean

Lantova is not completely shutting down. The website will stay up, blog posts and all. But, we are halting all content production for a minimum of at least six months.

That means that all:

  • Newsletters

  • Blog Posts

  • BTS Podcast Recording

  • Social Media

Will come to a full stop until June, 2026.  After that, we will be in touch with an update.

Here's How You can be Praying for Us in the Meantime

01/ Pray for healing.

We need healing for our hearts, healing for our bodies, and stability in our lives. We'll trust God to prompt you from there.

02/ Pray for clarity.

We're going to be seeking the LORD for what rebooting Lantova sometimes this summer looks like. We might keep on keeping on, or it could mean a significant pivot.

03/ Pray for guidance.

Guidance from the LORD and guidance from others. More specifically, we'd love prayers for mentors and deep relationships that can help keep us anchored us as we step further into this kind of work.

Closing Thoughts

We appreciate you guys. Sometimes life doesn’t go the way we expect. But when in doubt, even when it’s tempting to prioritize productivity, efficiency, and pushing through, God cares about our hearts. And sometimes the only way to heal is to stop.

That kind of stopping, when it’s led by God, is faith.

Anything we can ever build is never more important than becoming truly loving in the process.

As Paul put it:

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 (ESV)“If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging symbol. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all that I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.”

So we’re taking a break. We’re allowing God to dig deep in our hearts and heal us. And we’ll catch you guys in June. Love you.

Sincerely,

Sarah, Julz, Ben, Bella, Lucian, Tamma, and Alanna
